3 in 1: the Collection is the culmination of Paul Guzzone’s year-long roll-out of digital singles. Now all on one album and available on CD, here are the six previously released songs of the “3 in 1” series as well as the final installment of three brand new tunes. The often requested “Light @ the EOL” (previously released only in digital format) rounds out the collection as a bonus track.

  1. Every Time I Look at You (lyrics)
  2. Dance While I Can (lyrics)
  3. Last Night in Vegas (lyrics)
  4. Wild Idea (lyrics)
  5. Doin’ What I Can (With What I Got) (lyrics)
  6. Singing Karaoke in the Motherland (lyrics)
  7. Radio Waves (lyrics)
  8. Wherever This Highway Goes (lyrics)
  9. Season of Joy (lyrics)
  10. Light @the EOL (lyrics)

New songs!
Radio Waves – A simple, breezy love song with a Van Morrison-inspired vibe, this features funky piano and Hammond by Bacon Brothers band mate Joe Mennonna.

Wherever This Highway Goes – This infectious road song and reminiscence on musician salad days highlights Paul’s self-harmonizing chops. The music behind Paul’s lyrics was co-written and performed by the Bacon Brothers rhythm section: Paul on bass with guitarist Ira Siegel and drummer Frank Vilardi.

Season of Joy – Co-written with musician and painter Raffaele D’Onofrio, here’s a timeless Americana folk-hymn that evokes the earlier era of back-porch music often heard at such bygone New York institutions as The Gaslight and Folk City. It features background vocals by Jane Barnett and Mary Ellen Bernard with piano and accordion by Joe Mennonna.

Bonus Track!
Light @theEOL (Light at the End of the Line) – This commentary on the abysmal state of politics was originally released as a digital single and video in 2012. Still all too relevant today – and often requested by fans – it’s included here as a bonus track.

“… sonic textures, wry narratives, catchy hooks and songs that draw you in. Chasing the Moon is an unlikely but successful meeting of a singer-songwriter with one foot in roots rock and the other in electronic production.” – Pete Feenstra, Get Ready to Rock (United Kingdom)

“Many of the songs can best be described as dream pop. This is certainly true of the title track which is more like listening to a poem than a song…. there’s a sense of timeless wonder….” – Bill Harriman, Sound Waves.

Paul’s first solo recording in many years combines his love of story songs and his rich production style. Acoustic-based, yet sumptuous with electronic soundscapes, this is a lush feast for the ears. Read more reviews on the Press Page.

Straight from the vinyl vault!

Paul Guzzone’s Dancin’ Room is rousing, unpretentious bar-band boogie … good-time, unselfconscious rock-n-roll …” – Stereo Review

https://paulguzzone.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Dancin-Room1.mp3

Inspired by the UK punk rockers who started the indie trend, Paul released this hugely danceable EP all on his own. Dancin’ Room made it to the playlists of more than 50 rock stations around the country and had a track chosen by Billboard‘s Top Single Picks. Not bad for a man without a label in the days when you really needed one.

Featured are such amazing and now venerable New York players as The Uptown Horns (Crispin Cioe, Arno Hecht, Paul Litteral), Louis Levin, Cotton Kent, Peter Bliss, and Denny McDermott.

In an era of divisive power struggles across the globe this Americana rock anthem is a plea for honesty, compassion and respect from leaders everywhere.
