Every Time I Look at You
(by Paul Guzzone & Mary Ellen Bernard)
It’s crazy how I used to be
A lonely heart, a weary refugee
Adrift without a clue
But now you’re here with me tonight
And I remember how you changed my life
Every time I look at you.
‘Cause all my troubles disappear
And everything is crystal clear
Every time I look at you
Better days are still to come
I know you’re only the one
Every time I look at you.
How did I ever win your love?
How did I ever rise above?
I can’t believe it’s true.
But somehow I’m the lucky one
And now I see my life has just begun
Every time I look at you.
‘Cause all my troubles disappear
And everything is crystal clear
Every time I look at you
Better days are still to come
I know you’re the only one
Every time I look at you.

Dance While I Can
(by Paul Guzzone & Mike Greenly)
Try to live my life with no regrets
Wanna have fun despite the debts
Am I gonna make it? I’m takin’ bets
But I don’t know how to go slow.
There’s a long list of things I’m doin’ without,
No lack of problems to worry about,
I don’t know how tomorrow is gonna turn out
But there is one thing I know.
I’m gonna dance while I can
Sing while I’m able
Goin’ for broke
And leavin’ nothin’ on the table
You only go ‘round once
So this is my plan.
I’m gonna dance while I can
Rock it while I’ve got it,
And do what I love
Without a penny in my pocket
‘Cause some day baby yeah,I’m gonna be gone.
So from now on
I’m gonna dance while I can.
Dance while I can.
There ain’t no fortune teller who’s got a clue
But I’ll take it day-by-day oh I’ll get through
Even though my lucky break is long overdue
I know, I know what I’ve got to do.
CHORUS
The world keeps spinnin’ ‘round.
Don’t let foolish people bring you down.
‘Cause while you sit there and sigh
The days keep passing by.
I watch them fly by yeah.
CHORUS

Last Night In Vegas
(by Paul Guzzone)
Last night Kenny had it all
Black jack and alcohol
Too high to stop the fall
The feeling was outrageous
A crowd began to gather ‘round
Fist pumping, fast and loud
Everybody hoping that
His luck would be contagious
She slid across the room
All glitter heels and cheap perfume
Stepping to a Madonna tune
Her eyes were magnetic
Ken looked up and saw her face
A body dressed in leather and lace
No sense of time or place
The air became electric
Last night, last night in Vegas
“Back Door” Kenny cashed out quick
Called C-Note Sam just for kicks
Felt like Sinatra with his chick
Stepping out on to Flamingo
Jumped into a chauffeured car
With crystal and a vodka bar
Fumbled with her buttons
In the back seat of the limo
Last night, last night in Vegas
He woke up with a bloody nose
Dirty face and rumpled clothes
In an alley no one knows
Out by the Neon Bone Yard
Like a sailor he got rolled
They cleaned him out and left him cold
He got taken bought and sold
Strangers held the trump card
Last night, last night in Vegas
This town will take you in
With promises of deliberate sin
But the only ones who win
Are kings and casinos
No regrets, he had some fun
A little beat up, hit and run
Nobody found out about last night
Yeah, but she knows
Hot lights and cold gin
Elvis and Marilyn
Showing off too much skin
Last Night In Vegas
Champagne and poker chips
Rough trade and glossy lips
Out walkin’ on the strip
Last Night In Vegas
Fools gold and slot machines
Madmen and muscle queens
Nothing is what it seems
On your Last Night In Vegas
Last Night in Vegas
Your last night …
Last night In Vegas.

Wild Idea
(by Paul Guzzone & Robert Bond)
Let’s go to Paris, Honey
Let’s go to Berlin
Let’s go to Tokyo
Someplace that we’ve never been
We can run the rapids
Parasail the waves
Go sky divin’
Or explore a cave
You’ve got nothin’ to fear
It’s just a wild idea!
Strap on that parachute
We’ll tumble threw the sky
Just take my hand honey
And we can learn to fly
We’ll splash into the ocean
Down in the deep blue sea
Swimmin’ with the sharks
That’s where we want to be
Yeah, it’s just a wild idea
Oh… come along for a wild ride
Oh… take a walk on the wild side
Oh… yeah!
You can be my Bonnie
I can be your Clyde
Lets boost a Masarati
And take it for a ride
Let’s run away together
Where ever the river flows
We’ll be gone, Baby
Long before the devil knows
Yeah, I’ve got a wild idea

Doing What I Can (With What I Got)
(by Paul Guzzone & Kevin Bacon)
Boom, boom, boom the bass filled the room
When a fight spilled in from the alley out back
A beer mug shattered – The people scattered
A riot, a rumble, it got rough and tumble
But I made it out of there with my pride intact
I try to stay cool
When the weather gets hot
Doin’ What I Can With What I Got
Knock, knock, knock, gave my baby a shock
When later that night I was at her back door
She smiled. she winked, she handed me a drink
Moanin’, mumblin’ we went rollin’ and tumblin’
Fell off of her couch and on to the floor
I said work with me honey
I’m tryin to hit the spot
Doin’ What I Can With What I Got
Doin what I can, tryin’ to make a livin’
Workin’ for the man, lookin’ for a win and
Tryin’ to land a slam dunk shot
Doin’ What I Can With What I Got
Hey, hey, hey! I get up everyday
Workin’ on a scheme to beat the machine
‘Cause even a beginner can end up a winner
If you bring it and work it
Don’t short circuit
It don’t hurt to dream
You know what I mean
Nothin’ to lose so I’ll give it a shot
I’m doin’ what I can with what I got
I’m makin my moves – I plan and I plot
Doin’ What I Can With What I Got
You’re gonna see me kickin back on my yacht
Doin’ what I can with what I got

Singing Karaoke in the Motherland
(by Paul Guzzone, Paul Rolnick & Nick Perfetto)
I want a seat at the table
I want to get another chance
I want to make it up to that high note
I want to do the spotlight dance
I want to go… yeah, to the promised land
I want to be the guy who fronts the band
I want to go… ya know I got to go
I want to be the one who stops the show
I gotta go… and have my fun
I gotta find a place in the Rising Sun
I want to go to Japan
And Sing Karaoke in the motherland!
We can go to Japan
And Sing Karaoke in the motherland
I can be your salary man
Singing Karaoke in the motherland
We should go to Japan
And Sing Karaoke in the mo-ther-land
I know… life can be crazy
We lose sight of who we are
Couched in… a little bit lazy
Zoned out and we don’t get far
I’m getting restless, I got to move
I want to feel the heat, I gotta find my groove
Everybody’s telling us what life is about
Maybe it’s time that we find our way out
You and me can be free again
Remember when we didn’t have a care
We made it all the way to Hawaii
Yeah, baby we were half way there
(Chorus repeat)
Turn on the music
Turn on the lights
Turn up the echo
Bring on the night
Just you and me baby, free again
Breathing in fresh, salty air
We made it all the way to Hawaii
Yeah, honey we’re half way there
(Chorus repeat)

Radio Waves
(by Paul Guzzone)
You and me
You and me
We’re like radio waves
We’ll go on forever
Like the glow of the moon and the stars
We pretty much here to stay
Age is a virtue like wine we keep getting better
Over time … wind and water turn steel to rust
But the forces of nature got nothing on us
We’re like radio waves
We’ll go on forever
Time is a gift
How do you take its measure?
Take nothing for granted
And take in every pleasure
Remember to remember
The past is in the past
Through it all
Our love was meant to last
We’ll still be here
Long after tomorrow
Long after tomorrow
Long after tomorrow
We’re like radio waves
We’ll go on forever
Like the glow of the moon and the stars
We pretty much here to stay
Age is but a state of mind we’ll just keep getting better
Over time … wind and water turn mountains to dust
But the forces of nature got nothing on us
Gravity, motion, relativity
Don’t even come close … to
You and me
You and me
We’re like radio waves, we’ll go on forever
We’re like radio waves, we’ll go on forever
We’re like radio waves

Wherever This Highway Goes
(by Paul Guzzone, Frank Vilardi & Ira Siegel)
Up all night
Chasing a memory
Like a ghost
Fading in the back of my mind
I can’t sleep
Awake but I’m dreaming
About a time
And a place that I left behind
Two kids
Off on a journey
Me at the wheel
And you with your guitar and a pen
We hit a chord
It felt like freedom
We heard a song
And swore it would never end
Where ever this highway goes
It’s gonna take us somewhere
Four wheels on an open road
It’s gonna take us somewhere
We got lost
In the swamps of Savannah
Got high
Howlin’ at a big yellow moon
We caught hell
From a good lookin’ woman
In a Rocky Mountain bar
In the middle of the afternoon
Cheap thrills
Chasing demons
Sweet redemption always
Around the bend
I woke up
I wrote you a letter
To say how much
I’m missing you my old friend
Where ever this highway goes
It’s gonna take us somewhere
Four wheels on an open road
It’s gonna take us somewhere
Sun rise on the eastern shore
Yeah, we’re goin’ somewhere
Brother we’ve got to get out of here
Gotta be heading somewhere
Started running before we could crawl
No one could teach us ‘cause we, we knew it all
Nothing could stop us once we heard the call
Where ever this highway goes
It’s gonna take us somewhere
Four wheels on an open road
It’s gonna take us somewhere
Sun rise on the eastern shore
Yeah, we’re goin’ somewhere
Brother we’ve got to get out of here
Gotta be heading somewhere
Where ever this highway goes
Where ever this highway goes
Where ever this highway goes
It’s gonna take us somewhere

Season of Joy
(by Paul Guzzone & Raffaele D’Onofrio)
Love is the season
Love is the season
Love is the season
Love is the season of joy.
Whatever time makes, time can destroy,
But love is the season of joy.
There are people who sit
On a summer’s evening
And drink in the air like wine.
There are people who watch
the snow fall on a mountain
And think that the sight is sublime.
There are days in October
when the leaves are on fire
And the earth sings its sad, bright song,
And mornings in May
when the colors can blind you
and the rivers run clear and strong.
Love is the season
Love is the season
Love is the season
Love is the season of joy.
Whatever time makes, time can destroy,
But love is the season of joy.
There once was a man
Whose son had to leave him,
Go find a world of his own.
After years he returned
And all was forgiven,
Tears of joy welcomed him home.
Love is the season
Love is the season
Love is the season
Love is the season of joy.
Whatever time makes, time can destroy,
But love is the season of joy.

Light @The EOL
(by Paul Guzzone)
I’m not a mover
Not a shaker
No power broker
Or money-maker
I’m not a rich man
Not a poor man
But I’m a good man
And I’m a fair man
Don’t analyze me
Politicize me
Don’t try to bend me
Or try to friend me
Don’t try to sway me
Don’t try to play me
Tell me straight and
Don’t betray me
I’m lookin’ for a light at the end of the line
I’m lookin’ for a light to shine
I’m lookin’ for a light at the end of the line
All the shouting
And all the screaming
It don’t mean nothin’
It’s just demeaning
So many questions
Nobody answers
You make the bets but
I take the chances
What ever you say
What ever you do
It doesn’t take much
To see right through you
There are no winners
There are no losers
When all that matters
Is where the truth is
I’m lookin’ for a light at the end of the line
I’m lookin’ for a light to shine
I’m lookin’ for a light at the end of the line
If it’s not too much to expect
How about a little respect?
I don’t like being deceived
I just want someone to believe in
I’m lookin’ for a light at the end of the line
I’m lookin’ for a light to shine
I’m lookin’ for a light at the end of the line
